Narrators started life as a Tropfest project, but as you can see from the script, it was far too involved to ever meet the seven minutes running time maximum.
We still submitted a seven minute version to Tropfest as a matter of course, but then continued to develop the edit into what it has now become (12:40).
Not much changed from the script to the way that it was eventually shot. Some locations involving Mike and Jennifer were deleted due to time constraints and we lost one scene where Mike talks to Tony at home, but everything else remained pretty much true to the page.
